Morning<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

DAYS OF WATER RELEASE : RAFTING<\/p>\n

Meet at 9:30 AM<\/b> at our \u00abAdventure Forest\u00bb base (See access map<\/a>)<\/p>\n

They hand out the equipment and give a safety talk. You are now ready to embark on a discovery rafting trip that will take you from Castellane to our private beach \u201cla Pin\u00e8de\u201d (8 km and 1h30 of navigation).<\/p>\n

The first section is relatively easy; there is plenty of time to become acquainted with the navigation techniques: during the first hour, your guide will teach you all you need to know about the basics of rafting. Class II (easy) rapids are encountered, which allow for plenty of play on the river.<\/p>\n

Once this rapid has been navigated, we will rejoin the Pin\u00e8de beach, the finishing point of this descent.<\/p>\n

After getting de-kitted, we will return to our base \u00abAdventure Forest\u00bb by bus.<\/p>\n

DAYS WITHOUT WATER RELEASE : WATER RAMBLING<\/p>\n

Meet at 9 AM<\/b> at our \u00abAdventure Forest\u00bb base near CastellaneSee access map<\/a>) where your ABOARD Rafting guides will be waiting. From there, we will transport you by ABOARD Rafting minibus to Samson corridor (20 min. drive).<\/p>\n

Equiped with a wetsuit, a helmet and a life jacket, you let the current carry you gently along the river and take you to discover the Verdon\u2019s best-kept mineral secrets. A \u201cwater ramble\u201d not only implies floating, but also jumping and swimming in clear water, or walking around rapids, fallen trees or any obstacle we might encounter.<\/p>\n

Equipped with a wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket, we let ourselves be carried by the current, floating and swimming. We return to the banks each time it is necessary to walk around an obstacle (obstructed rapids, siphons).<\/p>\n

We jump, swim or walk in the clear water so as not to miss any of the magnificent scenery that unfolds before our eyes.<\/p>\n

This is undoubtedly the most appropriate technique for discovering the hidden natural beauties at the bottom of the Verdon Gorge. We find the Belv\u00e9d\u00e8re du Couloir Samson after about 20 minutes of walking.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The afternoon<\/span> : FOREST HIGH ROPE COURSE<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Meet at 2:00 PM<\/b> Adventure Forest adventure course.<\/p>\n

Move from tree to tree on a series of varied challenges at a height of 2 to 12 meters above ground. Test your balance on Nepalese bridges, slide on death slides, thread your way through hanging barrels \u2013 all of this in complete safety. All you need to do is to put on a harness, follow a few simple safety instructions, and all the fun and excitement will be yours !<\/p>\n

This real forest adventure is performed in an exceptionnally beautiful 3 ha. site planted with pine trees and broadleaved-trees, and is bordered with cliffs overlooking the Verdon river.<\/p>\n

In the summer (July and August), the dam releases take place on a regular basis, but usually only on Tuesdays and Fridays. The rafting is possible during these days (but never during the week-ends !!!).<\/p>\n

The activities offered during this day take place on the same site, 5 minutes from Castellane, where our ABOARD Rafting base and our Adventure Forest treetop adventure course are located. You therefore do not need to travel during the day (return from the rafting descent is provided by our shuttles) and you can have a peaceful picnic at our base amidst 3 hectares of forest.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
