Procedure

Meet at 2:00 PM at the Adrech campsite, 6 km from St-André-les-Alpes and 30 mins from Castellane (See access map)
Welcome of participants by ABOARD Rafting guides, followed by a transfer to the starting point.
Issue of equipment and briefing for a descent of the Haut-Verdon by raft, from the Roman bridge to the Allons bridge (approximately 14 km and 2.5 hours of navigation).
The guides will provide you with the basic elemental techniques to get started with handling this craft.
Then we will navigate the Fontgaillarde gorges. The landscape is very wild in this upper valley; the river is hemmed in for most of the descent into the gorges.
The river has a constant current, with rapids (class II, III)See the classification of rapidscontinuously but without marked rapids. Bouncing turns on the cliffs follow one after another until the exit of the gorge. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to admire some waterfalls gushing into the river.
The end of the journey is marked by the end of the gorge, where we find our vehicles.
